Molecular Photos Teams up with the Kidney Cancer Association to Fight Kidney Cancer with Art

Austin, TX, June 24, 2019 — Molecular Photos, an organization that supports cancer research through artwork created from molecular images of cancer, is announcing a new campaign in support of the Kidney Cancer Association (the KCA), the world’s first and largest international charity dedicated specifically to the eradication of death and suffering from renal cancers.

“We are grateful to be working with the Kidney Cancer Association as we strive to make a meaningful contribution to kidney cancer research,” said Michael Willoughby, the founder of Molecular Photos.“Our foundation partners like the KCA are so important as we pursue our mission of fighting cancer with art.”

Molecular Photos will raise money for kidney cancer research, donating up to 10% of the proceeds from all Molecular Photos artwork depicting kidney cancer cells to the KCA.

“The Kidney Cancer Association is honored to be selected by Molecular Photos to receive funds for kidney cancer research,” said Gretchen Vaughan, CEO of the KCA. “Funding for cancer research is essential to improving the quality of life for patients and ultimately eliminat-ing death and suffering from renal cancers. It is heartening to see how Molecular Photos is creating stunning, original artwork to bring attention to cancer while supporting critical re-search efforts.”
