Susan G. Komen's mission is to save lives by meeting the most critical needs in our communities and investing in breakthrough research to prevent and cure breast cancer. SGK is the worlds largest breast cancer organization, funding over $958 million dollars of research to date.

In 2019, Susan G. Komen Greater Central and East Texas and Molecular Photos have already raise over $5,000 in donations from the sales of Breast Cancer Artwork. Together we are making difference and impact to research.

Austin, TX, May 17, 2019 — Molecular Photos, an Austin-based organization that is creating art from molecular images of cancer and donating 10% of all proceeds to cancer research, is entering a new partnership with Susan G. Komen Greater Central and East Texas, a Texas-based nonprofit committed to saving lives locally and fighting breast cancer globally.

"We are grateful to be partnering with Susan G. Komen Greater CETX and excited for the doors this will open,” says Michael Willoughby, the founder of Molecular Photos. “With their strong foundation in Texas and expertise in building community, we will be able to reach many more people and make a significant contribution to breast cancer research over time."

The partnership will help raise funds across the community for investment into breast cancer research, breast cancer awareness, and breast cancer treatment of local community breast health initiatives.

At The Big PINK Give, an annual fundraiser event hosted by Susan G. Komen Greater CETX, a piece of Molecular Photos artwork raised over $5,000 in the auction. It was the first step in both organizations’ shared goal of making a significant donation to breast cancer research through this new partnership.
